Supportive Housing
Nēwo-Yōtina Friendship Centre provides supportive housing programs for individuals and families who need support to obtain, maintain, and stabilize their housing. Our programs are designed to help clients build the skills, connections, and supports needed to maintain stable tenancy and transition toward independent living.
Our approach is holistic, supporting each person’s mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while helping them navigate housing, health, income, legal, social, cultural, and community systems.
Together, we can help bring an end to houselessness
Four Winds Housing Program
The Four Winds Housing Program works with individuals and families who require mid-range support to maintain stable housing.
Through weekly home visits, staff support clients with practical tasks, personal goals, tenancy stability, and day-to-day needs. The program focuses on helping clients maintain stable housing while building the confidence, skills, and support systems needed for independent living
Sohkâyâwin Intensive Case Management Program
The Sohkâyâwin Intensive Case Management Program provides support for individuals with complex needs or those who have experienced homelessness for long periods of time.
This program offers more intensive case management support, with a focus on housing stability, well-being, and long-term independence. Like Four Winds, Sohkâyâwin is rooted in a holistic approach that supports clients’ mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness.
