About Us

Nēwo-Yōtina Friendship Centre is proud to be part of the Friendship Centre movement through our membership with the Aboriginal Friendship Centres of Saskatchewan and the National Association of Friendship Centres.

Friendship Centres are Canada’s most significant off-reserve Indigenous service delivery network, providing culturally grounded programs, services, referrals, and community support for Indigenous people living in urban centres. For more than half a century, Friendship Centres across Canada have helped Indigenous individuals and families navigate the transition from rural, remote, and reserve communities to urban life.

For many Indigenous people, Nēwo-Yōtina Friendship Centre is the first place they turn for connection, guidance, and support. At Nēwo-Yōtina, we are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and culturally safe space where community members can access resources, strengthen relationships, and stay connected to culture, identity, and community.
