Resolution Health Support Workers work alongside other NYFC programs such as housing and cultural support to case plan and case management to ensure clients have access to a wide array of services that promote a holistic approach to overall well-being.

Other services provided are working with a team to organize programs, services, and events for Indian residential school survivors (IRSS) and their family members to promote healing and wellness using both Traditional and non-Traditional healing practices.

We also facilitate a Women's Group every Wednesday and various classes, workshops, and programming for women and community members such as Ribbon skirt making, Star blanket making, Medicine picking, Berry picking, and more. 

In our role as Resolution Health Support Workers, we are responsible for ensuring that Indian Residential School survivors, 60s Scoop, and Indian Day School Scholars get the support they need upon filling in applications. We provide emotional support but most of all a safe place so that our clients can share their narrative. Our support doesn’t stop there our door is open if you just want to chat about your day.

Our role is to serve our clients with a open mind and heart so that we can direct them in the right direction within our ability, our casework consists of addictions, housing, mental health and cultural support. In this line of work, one must be in balance with compassion and strength in order for our clients to receive the proper direction whether it be towards professional counselling and or wellness support services.
